Superman is one of America’s longest established comic heroesSuperman comic book artist Frank Quitely is one of the guests booked for next year’s Highlands comic convention. Hi-Ex was held for the first time this year and is due to take place again on 14-15 February.
Mr Quitely recently illustrated All Star Superman – written by fellow Scot Grant Morrison – for America’s DC Comics.
Mick McMahon, another leading comic artist, has also been booked for the event in Eden Court, Inverness.
Convention organiser Richmond Clements said: “Mick is a true original and one of those rare talents that can genuinely be described as unique.”
